We come to the boat, template the deck, build the kit on our CNC and come back for installation. Every custom job starts with the actual boat, not a one size fits all pattern.
Tell us what you have, where it is, and what you want covered. We’ll review the project and follow up with the next step, no pressure.

This side by side comparison shows the same Domn8er boat before and after custom Freedom Foam decking. We measure the real surfaces, lay out the panels around the boat, and CNC cut the finished kit so the final fit looks clean and intentional.
Boat decking is what we do most. We also cut custom foam for personal watercraft, UTVs, trucks, coolers and other projects that need a clean fitted surface.

Every project is built around the actual boat, vehicle or surface. Here are a few recent builds that show the range of custom work we can create.
A good deck starts with a good template. We handle the measurement, design, cutting and installation so there is one team responsible for the fit from start to finish.
We measure your boat where it sits and build the layout from the actual deck. That matters on older boats, modified boats and anything that does not match a factory pattern.
We use closed cell EVA and PE foam selected for marine and specialty work. We help you choose the color, thickness and construction that make sense for the project.
Once the kit is ready, we come back to prep the surface, place the panels and finish the install. We are not mailing you a custom job and hoping it fits.
Approved layouts are cut on our ShopSabre CNC. That gives us clean edges, repeatable panel geometry and consistent routed lines and logos.
Panels are laid out around the hatches, consoles, seats and hardware on your boat. The goal is a deck that looks like it belongs there.
We come to marinas, storage yards and driveways throughout San Diego County for custom templating and installation. Select regional projects are handled by schedule.
For a custom boat deck, the work is simple. We measure it, lay it out, cut it and install it. You approve the look before anything gets cut.

We return to the boat, prep the surface and install the finished deck.
This is the ShopSabre CNC we use to turn the approved layout into finished foam panels. Keeping the cutting in house means we can check the fit, routed details and panel layout before the job goes back to the boat.
Our online kits are made for specific models and applications we have already templated. If your exact model or fitment is listed, you can order the precut parts and handle the installation yourself.

Freedom Foam is mobile. We template and install custom boat decking at marinas, storage yards and homes throughout San Diego, Mission Bay, Point Loma, Chula Vista, Carlsbad, Oceanside and the rest of San Diego County. We also take select Southern California and Arizona river projects.

Most of our custom boat decking work starts with us standing on the boat and figuring out what actually needs to be covered. We template around hatches, consoles, seat bases and hardware, then build the deck from those measurements.
If you are in San Diego County and looking for custom EVA foam boat flooring, replacement marine decking or a complete new deck layout, send us a few photos. We can usually tell pretty quickly whether the job is a good fit for our process.
