Freedom Foam SD is a mobile custom EVA/PE foam decking company serving San Diego County. We combine field measurements, digital design, CNC fabrication and professional installation.
Freedom Foam SD started the way most good businesses do, with a problem that didn't have a good local solution. We were looking for custom EVA/PE foam boat decking in San Diego and kept running into the same options: overpriced national brands, generic precut self install kits, or shops that didn't do real custom work.
That led to investing in a ShopSabre CNC router and building a workflow that connects field measurements, digital design, fabrication and installation. Each custom project stays hands on from the first template through final placement.
Since launching in 2023, Freedom Foam has grown through real marine, off road and specialty fabrication projects across San Diego and the surrounding region. The focus remains the same: local service, clean design and work we are proud to put our name on.
The ShopSabre CNC is part of what lets us control fabrication directly. Once a project is measured and designed, the panels are machined locally so we can review fit, pattern layout and cut quality before installation.
We use closed cell EVA/PE foam selected for marine and specialty applications. Material, color and design choices are matched to the project, then the finished panels are CNC fabricated before installation.

Tanner comes from a construction background and previously worked as a Project Manager, bringing a strong eye for detail, clear communication, and customer care to every Freedom Foam project. He helps keep jobs organized, customers informed, and the finished product dialed in from start to finish.
